Covid Statement

Hello everyone, we are so pleased to welcome you back from May 17th. We are continuing in the measures below after the general lifting of restrictions on 19th July 2021 until further notice.

If you’ve stayed here before you will know how important the cleanliness of our accommodation is to us. Since the pandemic started we have added another layer to our cleaning routine of sanitising with products approved to the EN14476 standard between the cleaning and polishing. Our bedding is laundered here and extra sanitising solution is added and bed linen is rotated and therefore rested between guests. We also rotate our pillows but if, you are happier bringing your own pillows I can supply pillow cases if needed, just let me know.

I will be sanitising shared touch areas such as door handles, gate catches etc at least twice a day. Please remember to wash your hands regularly as well.

We ask that you wear your face coverings in the public shared areas, removing them once in your room or seated at the dining table.

We have hand sanitiser in the entrance of the B&B and also in the front entrance of the main house leading to the dining room. The dining room will be open for breakfast

Breakfast:

Ideally we will stagger the breakfast sittings but can also have a clear screen on the table to offer a degree of protection to aid social distancing. Each set of guests will have their own preserves, condiments, butter etc. Self-serve items will not be available but items such as yogurts and cereals will be offered and served to you at the table.

Suite 1 now has a small table and chairs so if needs be, you can have your breakfast delivered. We also do a takeaway breakfast bagged up and left at your door at your specified time.

We supply extra bin bags in the top drawer of the dressing tables so if you have food containers etc please dispose of them in the bags and leave outside your door. We can then clear them away for you.

For an added precaution until things really settle down, I will not be servicing your rooms unless your stay is 3 days or longer, extra supplies of milk/tea/coffee etc will be left out-side your door. If you need help with anything in your room I am of course here to help. If you pick up any of the tourist information leaflets please leave them in your room so we can re-use them after a set aside period of time.

If you were to develop symptoms during your stay, we will ask you to head home immediately to seek professional medical care.

We ask that guests keep to the Hands, Face, Space guidance, wearing your face coverings in the shared spaces and giving others space. I shall greet you in the carpark and explain the things you need to know. (If the weather is inclement then I may need you to be in your room and I can be just in the entrance of the B&B!)

As part of our post-COVID-19 pandemic cleaning procedures now in place, we do require check-out to be by 10am, in order to ensure that we leave as long as possible between guests exiting and entering a cleaned room. If possible please leave the windows open and the heating off when you check out.

We do ask our guests to complete a registration form and this is required to be kept at least 21 days so that we can contact you if needed for the track and trace. You can also use the NHS track and trace QR code in the B&B entrance. Please could you let us know if you contract Covid19 in the 14 days after your stay.

We do hope these measures give you peace of mind and will reassure you that we are doing everything we can to ensure you can relax and enjoy your stay with us in the unusual times we all find ourselves in.

If you are at all concerned or have any special health issues, please call us directly before making a booking so that we can talk about your concerns or needs.

Cancellation: If we are unable to honour your reservation due to Government restrictions we will refund your deposit or postpone your reservation whichever is preferred by yourself. If you cannot travel due to Government restrictions then we offer a postponement subject to availability for the next 12 months, we will need to see written proof that you cannot travel.

We take no responsibility for events that are cancelled, once a booking is made then our terms and conditions apply.
